What is the cost of counseling?
When you are ready to attend counseling services, the last thing we want to derail your progress is the cost of the counseling sessions. At Abundant Life Counseling Services, we know that cost can be a barrier to getting the quality and quantity of care you need. Because of that, we have taken a few steps to reduce the cost of counseling for you and your family.
1. Our counseling fees are competitive with other counseling fees in the Austin area.
2. Some of our counselors offer a sliding scale application for those clients who need a reduced rate. The reduced rate is determined based upon household income. If you give us a call or send us an email we would love to send this application to you!
3. All of our counselors offer flat rate fees. This means that no matter what kind of counseling you desire, your fee will not go up based upon the number of people who are attending the session. For example, some counselors charge one fee for individual counseling and a higher fee for family or couples counseling. We want you to be able to bring who you need to bring into the counseling session without the penalty of a higher rate.
4. We want to make sure that college students, who typically have a lower income, are able to attend counseling should they need to. Because of that, some of our counselors offer a special student flat rate fee of $50 per session.
Insurance:
Abundant Life Counseling Services is not in-network with any health insurance providers. Because of this, all our clients pay for their counseling sessions out-of-pocket at the time of services rendered. We do understand that some of our clients may have health insurance which covers all or some of their mental health costs and we are happy to provide clients seeking insurance reimbursement with a receipt to aid in that process.
