Candice Reece, MS, LPC, CST

Candice is based at our Georgetown, TX location. She specializes in sex therapy, working with couples experiencing difficulty with relational and sexual intimacy, and trust recovery. She also works with individuals and groups regarding sexual issues and life transitions, and has a special interest in multicultural counseling.
Warm and inviting, Candice creates a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere as she guides her clients’ natural ability to make changes in their lives with her strengths-based perspective and vivacious demeanor. She uses an integrated treatment approach that takes into account the mind, body, and relationships, incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and biblical principles where appropriate and preferred. She received her sex therapy training from the Institute of Sexual Wholeness in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a certified sex therapist.
Candice graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M and has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy to equip her in her work with couples. She is also certified in the Prepare-Enrich program, and is a registered Twogether provider for premarital couples.
Candice is passionate about counseling because she has seen firsthand the changes and healing that therapy can bring to the lives of individuals, couples, and families. Her goal as she walks with people through challenges is that her clients would leave each time with a sense of hope. Candice and her husband of 22 years provide marriage enrichment studies in their church and have three children. Candice is relatively new to Texas and enjoys exploring her new surroundings, traveling, kayaking, and quality time with family and friends.
