Tailer works with individuals (age 13+) and groups struggling with eating disorders, sexuality, sexual addiction, sexual trauma, codependency, love addiction/love-avoidance, depression, anxiety, and general life skills. Tailer also works with couples on building connection, addressing and resolving conflict, and trust recovery.

Tailer graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and has taught psychoeducational groups around healthy relationships and relational wholeness for 6 years, most recently in a partial hospitalization setting specializing in eating disorders and mood and anxiety disorders. In her work with clients, Tailer utilizes an integrated approach which incorporates Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance-Commitment Therapy approaches, as well as incorporating Biblical principles and tools when appropriate and preferred. Tailer has been trained in Neurofeedback Therapy and plans to pursue training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy to better serve couples.

Tailer believes that our past experiences inform our beliefs and values. This motivates her to help clients process previous experiences in new ways that allow them to find freedom, hope and purpose in their current circumstances. With her deeply empathetic, connection-driven style and unconditional positive regard towards clients and their stories, she creates a safe place for clients to be honest and vulnerable without fear of judgment or criticism.

Tailer is passionate about healthy relationships, healthy sex lives, and healthy views on human sexuality, specifically in the Christian community where these topics often go unaddressed. Tailer and her husband moved to the Austin area from Kansas City in early 2020. She enjoys music, Kansas City football, exploring new restaurants and outdoor areas, and quality time with friends and family.

Tailer offers a sliding scale based on income for fee reduction for qualified clients.
