ALCS does not have a program for training practicum interns at this time. However, if you are still interested in a position at our center once you are provisionally licensed, we hope you will remember us! For students pursuing a career in counseling who enjoy and thrive on details, a position at our center as an Office Administrator can be an excellent opportunity to learn the business and participate in training and meetings that will prepare you for a counseling career. In order to ensure the best fit, ALCS prefers to add LPCs, LMFTs and LMSWs to our team who have completed our Associate Program. Therefore, candidates desiring to apply for a position on our team as a fully licensed clinician should plan to complete our Associate Program as a prerequisite. • If an Associate position is offered after a six-month trial period: Professional development bonus of 500.00 to be used for specialized training (EMDR, Gottman, etc.). The Professional development allowance may be combined with the specialized training stipend.
