Rachelle Honohan, MSW, LCSW-S

Rachelle is EMDR certified and works exclusively with children and adolescents (and their families) across a wide range of issues including ADHD, anxiety, autism, oppositional-defiant disorder, depression, and trauma.
Rachelle’s mental health experience since 1995 includes medical social work, inpatient residential treatment, and private practice. In addition to her certification in EMDR, Rachelle is trained in Theraplay, and Trust Based Relational Intervention.
As a mother of four teen and young adult boys, Rachelle has an up-close appreciation of each developmental stage; her combined professional and life experience uniquely equip her to come alongside parents and offer hope and courage, while her sincere passion for and enjoyment of children and adolescents help her create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel understood. Rachelle approaches counseling with a team approach, believing each person is an important part of the team, and that each person’s thoughts, feelings, and opinions matter. She helps her clients discover their own unique strengths, understand their feelings, and learn how to develop coping skills, set goals, and overcome obstacles, as she helps their families understand behaviors, improve communication, and establish boundaries within relationships.
An ALCS team member since 2017, Rachelle has a Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Supervisor, supervising upcoming LCSWs. She has been married since 1996 and loves to be involved in the lives of her four boys.
