Scott works with individual adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. He also supports couples who are facing communication barriers, chronic conflict, infidelity, and difficulties with co-parenting. Scott is passionate about helping couples find healing, connection, and deeper intimacy in marriage, and has a special interest in both relational and sexual wholeness. He is currently pursuing advanced training in sex therapy to better support couples in navigating these challenges.

Scott brings empathy and genuine curiosity to each session, working to see the world through his clients’ eyes. He takes time to understand each person’s story and the context that shapes their life today. In his work, Scott approaches problems systemically, helping clients explore how their current relationships — and the patterns shaped by their family of origin — influence how they see themselves and relate to others. He also guides clients in identifying thought patterns and internal processes that contribute to their challenges, helping them make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. With this deeper understanding, clients can begin to shift unhelpful patterns, build healthier ways of relating, and experience healing in their lives and relationships.

Alongside his relational and systemic approach, Scott brings practical, strengths-based, and solution-focused strategies to help clients move forward on their healing journey.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University (sic ’em) and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana Monroe. Outside of his counseling work, Scott enjoys spending time outdoors, rooting on his favorite sports teams, and making memories with his wife and young son.

Scott  offers a sliding scale based on income for fee reduction for qualified clients. For further information about next steps to see Scott, please visit our Scheduling page.
