Catherine is passionate about working with adults, college students, and teenagers (13+). She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, identity, perfectionism, spiritual concerns, complex family dynamics, and life transitions. Having experienced her own loss, she has deep compassion for those navigating grief and finds purpose in helping others heal. Catherine also has a heart for cross-cultural ministry and has lived and worked overseas.

Catherine meets clients where they are, whether they’re looking for steady support or are ready to go deeper into the roots of their struggles. She draws from interpersonal neurobiology to help people understand how the brain and body respond to stress, and uses trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, to reduce the intensity of painful memories. In sessions, she guides clients to explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, and the body, helping them process their story in a way that brings relief, clarity, and healing. For those who desire it, Catherine also integrates faith, creating space for spiritual renewal alongside emotional growth.

From a young age, Catherine felt called to be a therapist and is drawn to the hope found in people’s pursuit of wholeness and joy. She believes we are all in the process of becoming—and each of us is graciously invited to take an active role in who we will become. She considers it a deep honor to be even a small part of someone else’s journey toward flourishing and she delights in helping clients untangle shame, rediscover their voice, and find freedom in living with greater wholeness.

Catherine earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Baylor University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She is active in her local church in Austin and enjoys camping, live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Catherine offers a sliding scale based on income for fee reduction for qualified clients. For further information about next steps to see Catherine, please visit our Scheduling page.
